Oh no you didn't

So, school is up and running again. Yay.
I got my first 10s. Yay.
Our class played the first football match in the School Cup. We won 5-1. Yay.

Man, before our cup match everybody had that fighting spirit, that winning spirit, that will to push the limits. Before the cup match, we had many friendlies. We lost some, we won some. We lost because we didn't play as a team. We relied on individual skills. Our team has 1 very good dribbler, 1 very good shooter and 1 very good defender. Usually we gave the ball to the dribbler and we left him alone to do the dirty work. Usually we sent long balls to the shooter and left him alone. And we also left the defender alone to deal with the enemies.

Well, this time we played as a whole. Everybody played their best. I can't say that we had a MVP. Everybody was at top level. The goalie parried everything he could. The defender marked tightly and threw their feet bravely. The midfielders forgot personal pride and focused on passing. The attackers were magic.

Yep, it was a great match. After the final whistle, the opposition said "Yeah, congrats, you won a very big nothing.". It wasn't like that. We won morale. We now know that we can play like an organised, strong team. Even if most of our players weren't good individually, and even if the opposition team had 2 very good fellas, we did it.
With this win in mind, we're thinking about winning the tournament.

What a wonderful world

Hell no. Louis Armstrong was wrong. Our world is corrupted. The evil force that drives countries nuts is called "The Government & Co." . Think about the crazy rules of America. Some states don't allow you to walk with an elephant on the street. The hell's that? Americans are fat and dumb. Mostly. They are the most developed economy in the world, though. Yeah, Americans were serious back in the 20th and 19th century ... back then they built their economy and civilization. Now, they pretty much try to destroy it. Think about it: 2/3 of the Americans don't know that the sun is a star.

Nowadays, the US is all about crap-cheap movies, flashy movie stars (all kinds of movies, not just action and comedy ones), problems with the Arabs and an oil fever.

On the other hand, in Germany, drivers must be trained in first aid and have a first aid kit in their vehicle. Yeah, the Germans are damn serious. After WWII they were simply destroyed Their cities were torn apart, burnt down to ashes. Morale was down to the floor. Economy was disastrous. They had to make allies and split Germany into two: the Russian and the American side. Man, the Federal Germany was the dream for the Democratic Germany. The east side was eking to break away and escape from the communist madness. Dude (btw Oscar Wilde invented this word), look at them now. Germany is the economic engine of Europe. They power up Europe. Now Angela Merkel tarnishes the economy with her austere regime. I don't understand. It's just like communism.

What a wonderful world.

End of transmission.
